Placing a Child in the Situation Called Divorce

Divorce is an option of married people who has irreconcilable marital problems. Currently, couples go into divorce to legally settle nullity of marriage, as well as separation of properties and child custody.

Along with this process, parents might also see that their children are greatly affected with this unfortunate circumstance. Parents often fight about child custody and who gets to keep the child or children. These issues arise, but the child or children greatly values the idea of having a mother and father looking at them with love--even though they are separated. Financial matters or even child custody is not an issue for them. In most cases, the child often get a great share of stress and hurt as they are forced to accept the situation of separation or divorce. It is further recommended that parents must not argue or settle issues with the kids around. It would be more sensible to think that parents who want divorce must prioritize feelings of the children and should not selfishly insist that one has a sole right for child custody.

Children still need the love of both parents, even though they are living separately. Both need to have a share of spending time with the child, to help the child easily accept the separation of the parents. Parents must reassure children of the love and care in spite of the separation since they are souls that they voluntarily created in this world. Thinking of the child first is always the primary responsibility of ANY parent, whether you are with their other parent or not.
