With the booming global Halal holiday industry, Muslims from UK are now spoilt for choices with tourist destinations. From Argentina to Zanzibar, there is something to cater to all tastes, needs and budget. Islamic holidays are geared towards Muslim travellers who abide by Sharia values, and offer facilities that are in accordance with the religious beliefs of Muslim tourists. Some of these include hotels that serve Halal food and do not serve alcohol and pork. Certain hotels have separate swimming pools and spa facilities for men and women, whilst others even hire people of Arab origin to provide a comfortable environment for Muslim tourists.

When it comes to Islamic holidays, there are several destinations across the world to be considered. Most of these countries have Muslim communities and mosques, as well as other treasures to be discovered. Chile in South America has a wide variety of landscapes and climates, and offers hiking in the driest place on earth in the Atacama Desert, dramatic scenery and glorious glaciers in the Patagonia region as well as access to Easter Island, which is the most remote inhabited island in the world. Chile has a small and close knit Muslim community dotted in Santiago, Coquimbo and Iquique, with the Al-Salam Mosque situated in the capital city Santiago.

Namibia in southern Africa is another destination for Islamic holidays. Here, holiday makers can enjoy a vast diversity of sights and sounds. With the dramatic coast line bordering the Atlantic Ocean, the dusty plains of the Kalahari Desert, the amazing Etosha National Park, the monumental dunes near Sossusvlie and the green vegetation of Caprivi, there is much to enjoy in Namibia for all travellers.

Dubai is one of the worlds most visited cities and has several extravagant features towering skyscrapers, extensive architecture and gorgeous beaches. The city of Dubai is well known as a business hub and global city, and this has driven tourism above and beyond. Famed for its shopping malls, natural attractions as well as extensive skyscrapers, Dubai is worth a visit.

Sri Lanka, South East Asia is best known for its beach holidays. However, Sri Lanka offers much more with its multi ethnic culture combining Buddhists, Tamil, Malay, Dutch, Portuguese and a significant Muslim population. Sri Lanka has amazing UNESCO heritage sites, wildlife experiences, whale and dolphin watching outings, breathtaking waterfalls and more. An Islamic holiday in Sri Lanka will fill one with memories for life. Sri Lanka has several mosques the most famous include the Jami Ul Alfar Mosque and the Colombo Grand Mosque, two of the oldest mosques in the country.
