However, if you ignore the steps that you need to take to make her feel like she wants you to be her boyfriend, that is not going to happen. So, it usually is a wise idea to slow things down a little and put your brakes on just a tad.
Here are a few reasons why it is a good idea to slow things down a bit:
1) You have to take the time to create rapport between you and her.
With some rare exceptions, strong rapport between a man and a woman is not really evident until they have been around one another for a little bit of time. I'm not talking weeks or months necessarily. But, most of the time when a guy and a girl meet, the rapport builds up over time, it does not just appear all in one instant. Sure, there is usually a decent amount of rapport right off the bat, but you need to build it up enough so that she feels like she wants to be around you all of the time.
2) You have to get to know her personality a bit to see what works to trigger her attraction.
It's a lot easier to make a woman feel a lot of attraction towards you if you take the time to get to know her personality, her likes and her dislikes. The random chance that men take when they try to make a woman attracted to them in a matter of moments usually leads to a pretty low success rate. So, if this is a girl that you really like and you are really hoping that you get the chance to date her or make her your girlfriend, don't go with random chance and instead get to know her so that you can make it highly probable that she is going to want to be with you.
3) You don't want to seem like you have no life at all.
It's very easy to come across like a guy who has absolutely no life at all if you try to make things move too quickly with a woman you are attracted to. And when you come across as being a guy with no life at all, most of the time that equates to you making yourself seem less likely to be a fun guy to date. You'll come across more as the boring kind of guy and that usually is not the way that you want to present yourself.
