India's Sachin Tendulkar Drummer Record

Tendulkar, 37, was chosen from Hashim Amla, South Africa, team-mate Virender Sehwag and Graeme Swann Great Britain to win its first ICC Champion award.

The drummer, who became the seventh recipient of the trophy Garfield Sobers, also took the Audience Award in a double major at a ceremony in the southern city of Bangalore .

"To win tonight, these two prices is special and it is the way the game to appreciate someone's performance," said Tendulkar. "It's great to have two trophies in front of me and I am very proud and happy. "

New associated Zealand won the Spirit of Cricket award for the second consecutive time, while official Aleem Dar of Pakistan has been voted referee of the year for the second year succession.Australian versatile Shelley Nitschke was named cricketer women per year.
