subject: Unique Baby Costumes [print this page]

Baby Halloween costumes can be pretty cool when you pick the right one. You don't want anything too embarrassing, but as parents maybe that is something we all should get used to!

Think about the games and electronics that are out there. You could dress your baby up as an Angry Bird, an iPod, an iPad, and the list goes on. You could even go as far as making a costume of the Google Android logo.

For the younger parents that have some seriously hip tendencies, maybe delve into the comic book world. Superman, Batman, and Wolverine tend to be overplayedbut you could always go for the more obscure comic book staples such as She Hulk, Doctor Strange, Lex Luther, or Ms. Marvel for those that are able to toddle at this point. Nerdisms are in this year, so don't be afraid to get a little bit silly with it.

It seems that internet memes have hit an all time high and that tends to give us nerds some serious material for Halloween costumes. The Honey Badger is pretty cool. So is the kid that loves turtles. All you have to do is paint the same make up that was on his face on theirs and I am pretty sure a good portion of those around you will know what you are referencing. Take the best that the internet has to offer and you will be able to have a fantastic time dressing up your baby for Halloween.

The Nyan Cat is incredibly adorable and colorful, which is always great for your trendy baby. Something always works is the LOLCat world. There are so many different pictures to choose from that you could pick something original for your little bundle of joy with no real issue. Those cat ear headbands are incredibly easy to find and a good Do It Yourself project is always a fantastic way to spend your time preparing for Halloween!

If you want something that is more toned down, you could look into the cutest of animals or cartoon characters. With so many of them out there, you won't run out of ideas so you may have the next 18 years planned out, right? Take the time to really see what is out there if you are seeking something clever.

Look around the surroundings and you may even find something as simple as a cute salt and pepper shaker or maybe even a toaster. Condiments are pretty cool. Personally, I'd go for the A1 steak sauce, but that's just me. There is no reason to dress your kid up in an overplayed costume so don't go there. You could dress them up as a run of the mill princess or The Princess from Super Mario Brothers, it is up to you.

Baby Halloween costumes are awesome, because then you have pictures to look at when they get older. Choose wisely.
