The Best Marriage Advice - You Don't Want To Miss These

Are you ready to transform your marriage with the best marriage advice you have ever heard? Well it doesn't get any better than what you are about to read. In fact, I challenge you to find any better advice than this.

Ok, maybe I'm a little over-confident on how easy it is to transform your marriage but I really do want to see your marriage improved. It breaks my heart every time I hear of another couple separating or divorcing. It makes me especially sad when children are involved because I know how difficult it can be. My parents divorced when I was 5 and it wasn't easy to adjust without having a dad around.

Best Marriage Advice

Stop Comparing Your Marriage - It's very easy to look at other married couples and think "why can't we be like them". Be careful what you wish for. You really don't know how well couples are doing behind closed doors. They can look happy because their divorce is close to be finalized. Definitely don't measure your marriage against movie star marriages. Compare your marriage today to how it was a year after you were married. If your marriage is better today than it was back then the best advice I could give is keep working on it. If it's not better, then keep working at it.

Protect Against Infidelity - All of us are capable of falling for another person. You might not think you can but under the right circumstances you could have an affair. Best advice in this area of marriage is that you make sure you are meeting each others emotional and physical needs. Don't let the busy schedule you have cause your spouse to feel lonely, abandoned or resentful and angry. This can lead to an affair and it won't be long before your marriage is over.

Agree To Disagree - Don't assume that because you can never agree on anything your marriage is doomed. You probably agree on more things than you disagree on but because we tend to remember the negatives it seems like you argue over everything. It's best that you take advice from many who have been down this path. Agree that because you don't always see eye to eye doesn't mean your marriage is going downhill.

The best marriage advice I can give you is don't ever stop working on your marriage. I understand that life takes over and marriage gets put on the back burner. However, as long as the flame is still lit the fire and romance in your marriage can burn bright again.

Marriage wasn't meant to be easy and all fun. Anything that's worth having usually takes hard work to get. Marriage is no different.
