Players Who Buy The Digital Version Of Diablo Iii

For safety reasons and to ensure the integrity of the game and the auction house service, we need players who buy the digital version of Diablo III, wait until the confirmation of payment has been completed before they can use certain game functions (see list below). Payments are normally made within one day and confirmed these restrictions lifted, however, this process can take sometimes up to 72 hours.

As with World of Warcraft these restrictions have been introduced to prevent credit card fraud, which in turn helps to reduce gold spam and other malicious activities that can have a negative impact on the game fun for all players.

An unintended side effect of these security measures is that players who purchase the digital version of the game after patch 1.0.3, temporarily only play up to level 13 and not act out I can. We are working to correct this error as soon as possible and will post further updates as soon as we have more information.

Apart from the above two restrictions are listed below default security restrictions that are active in the digital version, until payment confirmation has been made:

No access to public games to buyers of non-verified digital versions

No access to the auction house (for real money or gold) to buyers of non-verified digital versions

Buyers from unverified digital versions can trade any items or throw them on the ground so that others can pick them

Buyers from unverified digital versions can not post messages in public chat or in game chat

Buyers from unverified digital versions can attach friend requests no news. However, you can send and receive friend requests / and play with their friends.

Global Play is not for buyers from unverified digital versions available.

To prevent any misunderstandings, we want to make clear that these restrictions are temporary (and often within a day, but at least be suspended within 72 hours), only when you buy the digital version to come into force and serve to protect the players. Feedback is still welcome and we are constantly working to improve our methods to ensure a positive playing experience.

If the purchase has taken place of the digital license from more than 72 hours and the problem should still exist, please execute a reset password and logs you again in Diablo III. If even then no progress in the game is available, please contact customer service.
