Texas Online Death Records

The place where one can request for the recovery of Texas Death Records in at the Vital Statistics Unit, Texas Department of Health. Up to this present, the department has complied documents since 1903 for significant purposes. In this compilation, existing reports include deceased's name, sex, race, date of death, age at the time of death, place of death, date of birth, place of birth, marital status, name of spouse, Social Security number, occupation, residence, father's name, mother's name, cause of death, and place of burial. The process begins by filling out an appeal for a certified copy of a death certificate. For a copy for deaths that happened 25 years ago up to the present, only family members of the departed are allowed to appeal for a duplicate of the said report. Otherwise, you must show, upon request, a legal documentation that links you to the deceased.

The process ends with a payment. If the time of death took happened within the last 25 years, a photocopy of your valid government-issued ID with photo must be presented. Another option would be two copies of documents with your name and your Social Security Card. You can also submit a copy of the photo ID of a direct family member in lieu of the requirements stated above. Furthermore, you must affix your signature in one of the documents that you will submit. Those requests with no photo ID or any of the choices stated above will be ignored.

Requests through mail are escorted through check or money order for payment and will be done within 10 to 15 office days. A $20.00 cost per copy will serve as the payment and $3.00 for each extra copies requested at the same time must be paid as well. People have the choice to place the application through Internet using a credit if it is more comfortable to anybody.
