subject: Independence Day Is All About Family Entertainment On Hbo! [print this page]

This Independence Day, the parade at India Gate, need not be the only thing that you watch to pass your time. HBO is celebrating Independence Day by bringing an unbelievable line up of movies from all genres, airing back-to-back, all day long, on the 15th of August. On that day, we will not just kill your boredom; we will squeeze out every last drop of it, and throw it out of the window. Let this Independence Day be remembered as the day when HBO made all the Indians break free from the bonds of boredom and set them free forever.

For all the Hollywood cinema lovers, there is no better way to celebrate Independence Day. The day will start with the cutest hopping bunnies and dancing penguins in Hop and our animation feature Happy Feet. Since, both these movies are animated, the kids will definitely love them. These will be followed by the Blockbuster of the Month & our Independence Day special Captain America: The First Avenger, starring Chris Evans; no sacrifice is too big for Captain America, when his nations safety and honor is at stake. This is followed by the Movie of the Year Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 1, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson & Rupert Grint; this is where the beginning of the end begins.

These superb action and fantasy flicks will be followed by two of the most hilarious comedies of recent times. First, the king of comedy Rowan Atkinson will have you rolling on the floor with laughter in Mr. Beans Holiday & then the most unimaginable partnership of Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker will have you in splits in Rush Hour 3. To close the day for children, there will be Peter Pan and Ironclad, for the adults, starring Paul Giamatti; the perfect Independence Day story of a small group of knights fighting against a tyrannical king. So, as you can see on the 15th of August, HBO will definitely have something for just about everyone, all you got to do is manage the popcorn and cola.

Since this is one of those few days when the entire family is definitely home, we made sure to pick only those films that can be viewed by the entire family together; total family entertainment. This is the least we at HBO could do for all our loyal fans and viewers who have made us the most popular English movie channel in the country. And it doesnt stop here, in future we will continue to enrich your movie watching experience at home in ways you cant even imagine because its not TV, its HBO.

We thank you for your support and we wish you a very Happy and entertaining Independence Day from the entire HBO family.
