subject: Are You Missing The #1 Skill To Making Money Online? [print this page]

Guess what? The answer is something that so many gurus fail to mention. Its not article writing, Google Adwords, SEO(Search Enigine Optimization) Or even being able to do the best copy writing in the world.

These are all wonderful skills to have and as an internet marketer you must learn to master them.

But the number one skill you should pocess is...

MEDIA PLACEMENT!

Thats right. If you dont know how to get your product, website, or information before hungry qualified prospects, all the skills in the world are not going to make you money.

Media Placement is what all successful businesses in the world do everyday. McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Mercedes, UPS, and just about every successful company you could imagine are skilled in getting their media placed before their prospects.

You say, "Well thats fine for them. Im no major company with a huge advertising budget. How can that help me?".

Listen, no matter what you are selling, if nobody knows that you have anything to offer, how are they ever going to buy anything from you?

Imagine yourself as gas station in the middle of nowhere. I mean there are no roads or highways for miles. How many customers do you think you will get? Thats bad media placement.

Now, take that same gas station and position it on a major highway where the next gas station is maybe 50 to 100 miles further down the road. How many customers do you think you will attract then? The answer to that is easy.

That my friends is good media placement!

Media Placement on the internet is really no different. You see you need to put yourself out there so that you get noticed. Cover all your bases so to speak. Educate yourself on the innummerable ways to promote your product, website, or service. Find out how to do it intelligently. For example, lets say you are selling jetskis and you decided that you wanted to advertise magazines. You would not advertise in "Winter Wonderland" magazine. It just doesnt make sense. Even if "Winter Wonderland" had a list 500,000 paid subscribers youd be a lot better off advertising in "Summer Travel" magazine with only 100,000 paid subscribers. Bottom line is that these are more targeted prospects and not only that but you could sell to this list over and over again with other summer related products.

There are nummerous ways to place your media. Some of them can be costly. But many are absolutely free or only pennies on the dollar.

This is all about developing a strategy and sticking to it. You must start somewhere though. Start a blog, write articles, submit classified ads and press releases. The list goes on and on. You just have to get the momentem going in your favor. Once youve established a system and dedicate yourself to implementing it there is no way you are going to fail.

Did you know that 95% of all new businesses fail? Its true. And I would be willing to bet that these businesses were lacking in the number one skill to making money online. Media Placement
