1. Jacob Ballas Childrens Garden (An Introduction Talk)
On January 1, 2012 until December 31, 2012 there will be a talk on Asias first Childrens Garden. Your child can hear about plants of many colors, shapes and sizes, textures and feel in their Sensory Garden. Growing there are also plants for drinks, plants for dyes and plants that grow on other plants. Allow your child to have fun at the fantastic forest which includes a tree house, a pond, a suspension bridge and a cave. There will be plenty to do and plenty to see in the Childrens Garden. This talk is suitable for children in K1 P6 levels and its only for 20 minutes. It costs $150 for a group of 20 students to 60 students so you can also invite your childs classmates at his or her preschool at Bukit Timah to come and join you. It will be held at Jacob Ballas Childrens Garden, Bukit Timah Core of the Singapore Botanic Gardens near the Preschool Childcare in Bukit Timah.
2. Nature & Communitys Tales (A Drama Workshop)
On Saturday, 2 June 2012, based on Aesops Fables The Ox And The Frog, this drama workshop addresses the moral value of respecting one another and that we should not try to be something that we are not. It will start from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Next is the Mercury And The Workers, also based on Aesops Fables, this drama workshop addresses the important moral value of being honest at all times. It will happen on Tuesday, 19 June 2012 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. All of these are suitable for children in K1 P6 levels and will cost $10.00 per child. Only at Jacob Ballas Childrens Garden, Bukit Timah Core of the Singapore Gardens near Preschool Singapore in Bukit Timah. Centered on nature and the community, each workshop will feature animals and their habitats. Using simple props, costume pieces and musical instruments, children will get to take on various participating roles in the story. Through play and dramatization, children learn to emulate and incorporate good, moral value in their lives.
