subject: J.f. Rey Eyewear To Release Special Glasses For Breast Cancer Awareness [print this page]

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in honor of this special cause, J.F. Rey Eyewear has announced that it will release a brand new frame to help raise money for cancer research.

Known for its bright colors and fun designs, this special pair of J.F. Rey eyeglasses does not stray from the brands signature style. It is made of metal and acetate, carefully crafted into an oval silhouette that is beautifully feminine. The frame itself is, of course, pink (the signature color for breast cancer awareness) and features a laser-cut ribbon pattern throughout the top layer. This is backed by thin metal mesh to reinforce the frame and make it strong and durable. With straight arms also sporting the ribbon pattern, each side is capped with complementary blue plastic so the designer glasses sit comfortably over the ears.

The frame will be released on October 5, 2012 at a charity event known as Glam-A-Thon, which is an organization that raises funds for breast cancer research, awareness, and education. It will debut in the Lipstick Lounge, where VIPs and guests will be enjoying a fun night out with J.F. Rey.

There will only be 200 frames made in this special style in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so purchasing this limited edition pair of glasses is not only exciting because of its exclusivity, but because customers will be contributing to a worthy cause. J.F. Rey has set a goal to raise $70,000 to donate to Glam-A-Thon through the sales of this frame as well as its charity event. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the sales of this frame will go towards this ambitious goal.

As with all of J.F. Rey eyeglasses, this exclusive frame is made with the utmost care and fine materials that you will find in the rest of the brands collections. All frames are handmade by the company and feature creative styles and innovative technology so that you get a high-quality accessory for everyday wear.

To help find a cure for breast cancer, call your local optical shop or visit your favorite designer eyewear shop online to request more information on how you can purchase this frame and donate to the cause. With J.F. Reys initiative, we can be $70,000 closer to a cure.
