If you have children you will know that, through the year, it can be enjoyable to treat your kids to an exciting day out. Not only can this act as a bit of a break for you, but it will also allow your children to enjoy themselves for the day. You can also get a bit of bonding time in, so you can make the most of a short day trip with the entire family and enjoy each others company for the day.

Cornwall, which is located in the south west of England, is one of the UKs most historic places to stay and is packed with exciting attractions and things to do.

Possibly one of the best attractions in the area is Lands End, which is a completely natural attraction that is formed of the most westerly point in England. Inside the Lands End attraction the entire family are guaranteed to enjoy the many things to do that are on offer. For instance, families could treat themselves to a 4D cinema experience, complete with 3D graphics and the added dimension of moving chairs and special effects to give films a real feel. There is also an Arthurs Quest attraction, in which kids must help to save King Arthur. The attraction includes interactive features and thrilling adventures through locations such as the Gorge of Fire, Merlin's Secret Chamber and the Dragon's Lair.

Other attractions in Cornwall include the Eden Project, which is the biggest greenhouse in the world and which contains literally thousands of exotic plants that you wont see anywhere else in the UK. These plants are contained within tropically heated biomes that you can visit to uncover the hidden beauty of the world in Cornwall.
