Nagpur, popularly called the Land of Oranges, is located in the Deccan Plateau. Nagpur earned the sobriquet Orange Capital of India because it is the major producer as well as the key trade centre of oranges in India. The distance between Pune and Nagpur is around 735 km by road. Nagpur enjoys good connectivity with Pune by means of rail, road and airways. Hence travelling between these cities is fairly easy.

Nonetheless, the best way to reach from Nagpur to Pune is by air as there are direct flights operating between the two cities. The flight distance of around 661 km between Pune and Nagpur can be covered in less than one and a half hours time. Mostly used by the businessmen and rich, this is still not a common means of travel.

Trains are best suited while travelling with kids and elders.
