Sometimes people even wear crowns made of gold to enhance their appearance. Otherwise in general the tooth crowns are made from porcelain.

Inlays and Onlays The Inlays and Onlays are also a type of filling of the teeth. The inlay is placed just within the tooths biting surface while the onlays are placed on the larger part of a tooth. The inlays and onlays are made out in the laboratory and then they are fitted on the teeth by some adhesive. These fillings are very strong and it can prove to be stronger than the ordinary fillings.

Root Fillings Root fillings are the root canal treatment that involves the repair and treatment of the injured tooth and the blood vessels inside it. Root fillings involve complicated process of treatment and may involve dental surgeries. Various instruments and disinfectants are applied while doing the root filling treatment. It may take more than one visit to have your root filling done.

Veneers Veneering is the treatment of the tooth that involves thin layering of porcelain that is of tooth colored and then fitted over the discolored tooth. Veneering is almost a cosmetic dentistry rather than treatment in its true sense.
