subject: Limitations Of Outsourcing [print this page]

In Data Processing Outsourcing there is a risk of Confidential Data also due to insufficient focus the service providers cannot concentrate properly on your requirements. One of the biggest disadvantages of this sector is losing management control of business functions that mean you may no longer be able to control operations and deliver ables of activities that you outsource.

This service lacks in unusual output quality i.e. if the outsourcing partner you had chosen is not on the top of things, you can face problems such as inappropriate assignment of responsibilities, lack of quality in output, delayed delivery, and so on. Working in a Data Entry Company requires the ability to repeat the same tasks, often under the pressure of deadlines with a high attention to detail.

With so much textual information to enter, data entry employee inevitably makes mistakes that can have big and sometimes irregular consequences. While working in a Data Entry Companies accurate information is needed in every organization to keep your competitors. Typing through reputable company, you not only should be accurate but also data security should be maintained and you must have reliable eminence as well.

Again with the increased volume this scenario moves from bad to worse the reason being since that the more volume that you are providing the lesser the accuracy is going to be, we have to accept the fact that not all things can be done super-fast and super-accurate at the same time, it might be applicable to automatic jobs such as microfiche scanning service but as far as Data Processing is concerned this is certainly not the case.

Let us just have a brief overview of the reasons why the data processing thing of inferior quality in India.

Data Entry in India lacks because of unawareness amongst the people, lack of computer education, unknown to Language expertise (spelling and grammar), less knowledge of mathematics and due to that less database theory and development.

Along with the above reasons one dominating factor is that data entry work is an under-paid job, just 5 years back people were ready to pay $1000/month to a guy who worked 8 hours a day and took lots of toilet breaks!! But for the same job you are not willing to pay even $200/month to a guy in India, then how can you expect him to be quick and accurate at the same time??

So if you are thinking to outsource data processing to India you should really give it a thought twice!!
