These buses are operated by both the government agencies and the private operators. Besides, the buses that go to Kozhikode from Bangalore also pass through Wayanad. Hiring a cab from Bangalore to Wayanad is also a good option of travel. It not only ensures speedy journey, but also provides a great deal of convenience to the travellers. Though a little more costly than the bus, taxis are best suited while travelling with kids and elders, or as a family. There are numerous cab services that operate between these two places.
Another option of travelling from Bangalore to Wayanad is by reaching Kozhikode by train and then proceeding from there by cab or by bus to Wayanad. Alternatively, one can also fly from Bangalore to Kozhikode and hire a taxi from the airport to reach Wayanad. But both these options are time consuming and uneconomical, and hence not recommendable.
