Visakhapatnam, which also known are Vizag is one of the favourite tourist destinations of India. As it is a culturally rich city, visitors come from all over to this town of Andhra Pradesh. Apart from the economical and industrial significance, the city also has many historical monuments and one among them is the Char Minar. Bus to Hyderabad is available from all such cities as well. The main routes through which the Hyderabad buses pass are Afzalgunj, Secunderabad, and Balanagar among others.

The total travel time taken from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad is about 9 hours and 40 minutes if traveling via road. Both the cities are well-connected to each other through all modes of transportations like rail, road and air.

The most comfortable and economical form of transportation from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad is via good networks of railway lines between the two cities. There are several trains from Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad with a journey time of 12 13 hours. Of these East Coast Express and Janmabhoomi Express offers their service on all days and other trains on Saturdays and Wednesdays. From Secunderabad Railway station, it is just 9 km journey to Hyderabad.

Several taxis and cabs that are available to travel from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad charge from 11,000 to 16,000 rupees round the trip depending upon the type of vehicle chosen to travel.

There are also a lot of buses available to travel from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad. These buses that range from non air-conditioned ordinary buses to air-conditioned deluxe coaches charge from about 400 to 900 rupees per traveller depending upon the type of bus chosen to travel.

Bus journey is suited for individual travellers. Car is best suited for families and group travellers. Flight journey from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad is the easiest, but is expensive.
