Its quite usual that we come through articles/columns on web consisting of the list of favorite tourist destinations. Many of travel writers put up such sorts of posts. I too read this kind of list recently. It was on Must-visit Travel Destinations in India. To be frank, the list didnt satisfy me, as some of the choices were my favorite, while others were the ones that totally disagree with. Well, this is my opinion which is biased by personal preference and ideas of a perfect holiday. After reading that, I too decided to keyboard down my list. May be you feel the same that I did after reading that list. So to avoid this problem, I welcome you to add your own list in the comment section at the end.
Munnar: You would throw your arms up in digesting the natural grandeurs that Munnar has to offer. Quite hard to believe, this picturesque hill town in Kerala is a heaven of peace and harmony. Opulent with undulated topography, unique species of flora and fauna, salubrious weather year-round and interesting cultures & cuisines make Munnar a perfect choice for those you looking for rejuvenating escape. You would be amazed about how a small territory can combined such a great diversity of tourism attractions; Munnar has something for everyone adventure enthusiasts, honeymoon couples and wildlife & nature-lovers.
Havelock Island, Andaman: There are innumerable beaches in India, and I have been to many of them. But I couldnt find such an astonishing grace that this marvelous beach destination has. Less crowded, immensely spectacular and filled with recreational ambiences, Havelock Island can give you a lifetime experience. From sunbathing to snorkeling and scuba-diving to para-sailing, an inspiring range of water adventures can be enjoyed there.
Jaipur, Rajasthan: You may remember the city for its iconic structures, colorful cultures and delicious cuisines, but what astounded me the most during my visit to this Pink City is its way to treat visitors. People here are warm and friendly, and are always eager to help visitors. Even Jaipur hotels are far-famed for their excellent hospitality. Historical attractions like Amber fort, Hawa Mahal and the City Palace are sure to leave you gratified.
Rishikesh, Utterakhand: Rishikesh is simply one of the most beautiful towns I have ever seen. Splendid scenery, inspiring religion & cultures, rich history and pour kind hearted people (at least the one I met across) Rishikesh, in foothill of lower Himalaya never fails to bedazzle you. Gently rolling hills overlooking the pristine Ganga River are broken up by small fields, short hedge rows and flowery vales. Its really beautiful. You bet?
Kashmir: I wouldnt give you a single destination, as entire Kashmir is magical and my favorite one. This stunning territory in North Indian Himalaya needs no introduction, and is fondly dubbed as Paradise on Earth. Srinagars Lakes, Sonamargs Ice and Pahalgams landscapes are simply matchless.
