Journey by road from Shirdi to Nasik takes about one and half hour. Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation runs buses regularly connecting these two holy cities. A number of private bus services are also available to Nasik from Shirdi. As the journey is very short you can choose either A/C or non A/c bus services. Even private Jeeps and taxis are also available at an affordable price to Nasik from Shirdi. Places you come across in the road journey include Pangri, Sinnar, Shinde and Deolali. On the way you can find petrol pumps, small temples and a number of eateries offering soft chapattis.

Alternately you can travel from Shirdi to Nasik by train. Express trains are available to Nasik from Shirdi. The trains depart from Sai Nagar Shirdi railway station and arrive at Nasik road junction. Journey by train takes about two and half hours. On the way you will come across Kopargaon and Manmad railway stations. Shirdi railway station is located at an accessible distance from the town center, the Sai temple and hotels. For the convenience of visitors a railway booking center is available right at the temple premises. You can comfortably book tickets from Shirdi to Nasik at those counters without the hassle of visiting the railway station. One can also book the tickets well in advance from IRCTC.

There is no airport at Shirdi. Hence, there are no direct flights connecting Nasik and Shirdi. You can expect direct flights from Shirdi to Nasik after the completion of the Shirdi Airport. An Airport is being constructed at Kakdi that is 14 km away from Shirdi.
