Greece Clubbing Holidays

The world is still emerging from a recession and people are cautious about booking a holiday away this year.

But the clubbing scene abroad is huge and the people that are booking these holidays have a lot of disposable income.

The average clubbing holidaymaker is usually aged 18 to 24 and has disposal income from living at home with their parents and earning a decent wage with nothing to spend it on but minimal rent to the parents and a bit on the car.

Greece is going to be one of the best holiday destinations for clubbers this year and the Greek islands have had a lot of good press of late.

Faliraki in Rhodes is still seeing visitors from the UK and Europe for great clubbing holidays and bar street is rammed throughout the summer months of June to till the end of August. It has its own Waterpark in resort and the beaches are lovely and sandy with watersports available daily.

Take Malia for example; a mainstay of Greek Clubbing Holidays for many years and although visitor numbers have fallen in the past few years it's starting to rocket with the recent filming of The Inbetweeners movie.

The beaches and beach bars keep people entertained all through the day as people sleep of their hangovers and meet prospective friends for the night ahead. The clubs in Malia are some of the best in Crete and open to the early hours of the morning with a variety of themed clubs playing every type of music from the 60s, 70s and 80s to the latest dance floor tracks.

There are many other Greek islands to choose from and they have all been firm clubbing favourites for years. If you're looking for something different try Laganas in Zante for great dance music or Kavos in Corfu for a great mix of people and a heady mix of Garage and Drum and Bass.

Greece as a whole is a very friendly country and you the locals of the resorts are much more welcoming than other European clubbing destinations. The clubs are normally free entry in most cases and drink prices are on par with the UK but if you haggle you can get plenty of free shots and fishbowls.
