Is The Property Market Still In The Doldrums?

The banks were also keen to facilitate anyone with an interest ensuring they werent going to be left out. Then the inevitable happened, banks foreclosed some even closed. The extent of the problem was laid bare for all to see.

There were accusations put forward, there were examples made and money lost lots of money! Then came the panic, Global Stock Markets tumbled losing trillions, but how much exactly is very difficult to say but some estimates are in the region of 25%

So how is the market fairing today? A spokesman for leading overseas property investment company, Hansard Worldwide Limited said: There are seeds of optimism growing steadily, and some predictions of a 20% growth in the UK by 2012 are very encouraging. The recovery seems to be a lot quicker than most first thought. We are specialists in overseas property investment which, economically, have always been more stable than the UK and not so susceptible to Boom & Bust However, the domestic markets affect us no end. We, at Hansard, know that if confidence at home is low and people are experiencing negative equity; they are unlikely to invest in a property abroad. Generally they need to know that the money tied up in their home is not only safe but rising steadily too.

Hansard Worldwide go on to say: We are seeing lots of evidence in the levels of enquiries which backs up the fact that confidence is growing by the day, whether or not we see the days of monumental growth return remains to be seen.

One of the constants is that there is always money to be made in property, even in a recession. However unless you are experienced in this; sometimes volatile market, its best to steer well clear.
