Can You Write Online For Money?

You may have heard people say that you can write online for money but is it really possible? Do you have to be a Shakespeare or a Dickens? How good does your writing have to be and what do you need to write about so that you can truly say that you write online for money?

The god news is that you don't have to be a brilliant writer. Sure, you need to be able to put words together in a sentence and run a spell checker (not that those spot every wrong spelling). But we're not looking for university standard dissertations or anything like that.

One easy way to write online for money is to ghost write - sell your words to other people and let them work out what to do with your writing. You get a one-time fee which is paid shortly after you finish the project. Ideally, you'd be able to write about near enough any subject so that your work keeps flowing but, that said, specialist writers who actually know their subject can attract higher fees, making the idea of writing words for money more attractive.

Another easy way is to write a blog. This is a bit like an online diary but can be about any subject you choose. Obviously if your aim is to write online for money then you'll choose a subject where you can earn some kind of commission on the stuff you write about, whether that's from Amazon, people clicking on adverts or near enough anything else.

When you decide to write online for money, you'll find that new ideas keep springing up and you'll find new income sources that you'd never originally thought of. Give it a go!
