It really surprises and amazes me to see the level of awareness and conscious rising high in today's age. Globalization and industrialization has scaled new heights and thus it has led to mass- exposure on literally everything under the sun. What I knew at ten years old, today a five year kid knows more than that and if things move in this speed, the difference will only widen up. I am not complaining at all but gauging the velocity and swiftness with which life has been coated in multiple layers. One of the areas where massive alertness has been noticed is the toys of children. You don't give cup or a plate or a book or a phone to keep the child engaged. It doesn't yield anything, rather time- waste activity I should say! If the learning of the child is at the helm of things it will reduce him as a robot. If you only allow him to play and play be prepared to face a playful one. So the catch is to strike a balance between the two. Learning and play should be manifested in such a way that none of them gets over the top. That is why we have educational toys for the children of all age-groups. In the yearly formative years it is essential for the parents to check if their child's motor skills are developing simultaneously or not.
Motor skill mean muscle movements like when hand and fingers are used in coordination with eyes. The correct coordination between the hands and eyes or legs and eyes or both is very much required and to enhance this ability we have various motor toys (in Danish motorisk legetj) available in the market. Puzzles, maze, chess, play table, matching- grid building, painting with different kind of brushes are some common motor toys for children to make them bright and smart. At least three to four heads have to play together which as a result help them learning and playing together. This art of doing things with adjustment and sharing is of great value and last for lifetime.
So if you have little darlings around make sure that their creative streak gets build-up. Imagination and creativity is eluding fast from today's concrete world and these toys are the best way to foster these qualities and abilities in children.
