The city serves as an international gateway to all international and local flights to Madagascar and to other destinations around the world.

The country has a well established public transport system connecting it to other towns and cities. Be it the boat or Be taxi which is larger than a mini van or a car, one, does get around the country. It even has its own railway network system; connecting the traveler to the major cities.

While in Madagascar the best possible things one can imagine are meeting up with the most curious creatures of mother nature for example one cannot miss out on the eerie sounds of ring tailed lemur or its remaining species; Indri or the various species of colored chameleons, the invertebrates or the bright hued day geckos.
