See the Glory of Disneyland Paris in Miniature

You don't have to book an expensive flight to Florida to enjoy the magic of Disneyland, when taking a short hop over the English Channel to experience Disneyland Paris. The destination has been a top family holiday spot near the French capital for many years, and is continuing to broaden its appeal with more rides and attractions based on the latest Disney hits.

Disneyland Paris isn't just a place for kids, and can be thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family - from teenagers who'll love the white knuckle thrills of its big-budget rides to dads who can enjoy a leisurely round of golf at the Disneyland resort. However, it's the world of Disney itself that offers the major appeal for many visitors, especially those who grew up with classic Disney films.

Stepping inside the Walt Disney Studios Park, you'll have the chance to spot many of your favourite Disney characters - from Mickey and the Gang to the Genie from Aladdin and Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. The latter film is an inspiration for some of the park's most popular rides in Toy Story Playland, where you'll feel like you've shrunk to toy-size yourself in the oversized attraction. If you're more a fan of Finding Nemo though, you can ride on the back of a turtle on the Crush Coaster ride.

Disneyland Paris isn't all about thrills and spills however, and one of the most popular features is the daily Disney Parade, featuring appearances and performances from Disney favourites that span the decades - all the way back to Snow White. Other areas of the park such as the Pocahontas Indian Village can be great places to explore or unwind while enjoying food and drink, or you can get lost in the Alice in Wonderland garden maze. There are also plenty of opportunities to shop for authentic Disney merchandise and memorabilia so you'll never forget your holiday.

With so much to see and do at Disneyland Paris, it can often be worth spending more than one day at the park - and with hotels located on-site, you can enjoy all the attractions on your doorstep. Staying at Disneyland Paris can offer exclusive experiences not available to regular visitors, as well as many great discounts, though if you're looking to save money you may prefer to make the easy commute to the park from a hotel in Paris.
