Hunter was the runner up to Justin Blackmon for the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. Sources stated that, NFL teams are planning to pick him early in the second round draft in April, 2011. On the field, he could be used as both blocker and receiver. He played from John Tyler High School, where he rushed for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior.
