Tonight on American Idol it's last week all over again, except a little less Motown and a little more Elton John, then this season's Top 11 performers take to the stage for your votes. Let's hope this week is as surprisingly entertaining as last week. This will be Casey's big chance at redemption after the judges used the Save and kept him around for at least one more week. Keep in mind that this week we'll see two singers eliminated to make up for last week's excitement. We've already seen Branden's list of what each singer should perform and many of you have shared your recommendations but I'm sure we'll see a few ill-advised selections. Either way we'll have two full hours of American Idol 2011 starting tonight at 8PM, but until then join us and other fans on Facebook. Which singer are you most excited to hear perform some Elton John? With season 10 of "American Idol" set to premiere on FOX Wednesday night, it will be all about the new judging panel- and oh, yeah, the hundreds of contestants who actually made it through the audition process. But while thousands and thousands of wannabes showed up at audition sites in cities like New Orleans and Milwaukee, only a select few received a golden ticket to California to sing in front of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler for an encore during the Hollywood round. And now, before any of that even airs, the website Vote For the Worst may have already leaked the highly guarded top 40 contestants' list. You gotta love VFTW. These guys are the reason behind Sanjaya Malakar and Tim Urban's longevity on the show in previous seasons.

Several of these contestants have already been singled out by TMZ , along with videos of them performing. And it happens every season. Two possible Top 40 contestants- Joey Dwyer-Mount and Rachel Zevita- may have already been disqualified. Does that mean a call back wild card spot will open? Only time will tell if this Top 40 list is on the money (um, it usually is), but just in case: Remember these names because one of these peeps just may be your American Idol. As American Idol travels the country, airing the best and worst over the first few weeks of season 10, hundreds of contestants have received golden tickets to Hollywood. Of this select group, 40 will be chosen for the semifinal round, before the competition is whittled down once more and finalists perform on pressure-packed live episodes. So, who has advanced to the top 40? According to a new report, two hopefuls from last night's Austin auditions: Casey Abrams and John Wayne Schulz. We've posted the former's cover of a Ray Charles classic below, followed by the alleged list of semifinalists. Joe's Place has confirmed 18 of the Top 24. She's releasing a few at a time. So far she's posted 3 of the semi-finalists and reports a SHOCKING boot. The Green Mile episode was filmed Thursday night. The Top 40 were gathered, each told whether they would advance on to the live show. The Top 24 will be ONE week this year, with the group split between boys and girls, performing live to tape and set to air on March 1 and 2. 10 contestants will be voted in by the public. On Tuesday the judges will pick wildcards to round out the finalists. Rumor has it each judge will pick a contestant to make a Top 13.
