Dating Tips for Guys - Competition From Other Men and How to Deal With It

No matter what, when you are dating a woman, you are going to have to deal with the inevitable competition from other guys. Whether you are in a bar or a club and you are trying to get to know a woman, or you have taken her at on a date and you somehow run into some other guy, chances are... competition is going to come up once in a while. The question is, how do you deal with it?

Here are 3 tips on how to deal with competition from other guys:

1. Let it pass on by you.

The best way to deal with it is to not deal with it. When you have the confidence to know that there is no reason why a woman would pass you up for the next guy, you wouldn't really sweat it, would you? That's how you have to see competition from other guys, because the moment you show that you are starting to get a little insecure... she is going to notice this and that is not a good thing most of the time.

2. Don't lose your cool.

The moment that you let your emotions get the best of you, you will slide down a notch or two in her eyes. It does not matter the effect it has on the other guy, it matters what effect it has on the woman. If she sees you get angry about what's going on, she will more than likely actually start to think badly about you and not him. So, don't lose your cool or let yourself get angry about the situation.

3. Interact with him.

Let's say you are out in a bar and you are talking to a woman and then another guy moves in and tries to take her attention away from you. An easy way to deal with this, and an effective way, is to start to interact with him. What this does is it shows the woman that you are definitely not the jealous type and that is a big plus for you.
