Wedding Arrangements and Decorations

Every wedding ceremony and every reception is decorated with flowers, candles, trees, plants, fabric, paper and tons of other stuff but how you decorate a wedding reception is completely different.

Some brides, in an attempt to get their theme across to the guests overdo the decorations which means that if a bride had a Disney princess theme, she probably has wedding china that's actually kids' party plates. Themes should never be over whelming, the thing is finding a subtle way to get your concept across. Event managers get paid big time because they're able to pull it off without overdoing it.

If you find yourself piling things on to tables, chairs and in the doorways to let your guests know what the theme is then it means you're theme is either too complicated or you're using things that don't really relate to your theme in an attempt to save on having to get new or more expensive stuff. Unfortunately if you have to use more and more flowers or any other kind of decoration then the money you're trying to save will be spent here.

Keep the theme simple and let your guests have some fun trying to guess it. An easy way to get your theme across is to come up with a phrase that you can have printed out on the invitations and the place cards so there's no more guessing. If you're wedding theme is about celebrating the special things in life or enjoying the indulgences you can use things like fresh flowers, fruit bouquets, fresh fruit arrangements as part of your wedding arrangements. They can be a symbol of celebrating life or enjoying the simpler things in life.
