John C. Flood (or J. C. Flood & Co) has been around for a long time, over 100 years of serving the Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland areas with plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, water mains, sewer, and bath remodeling services.
John C Flood (yes, that was indeed his name) started the business in 1904 in Washington DC, which at that time the services provided were predominantly plumbing & heating related and the service area was Washington DC. Northern Virginia and Maryland were still fairly inaccessible and services focused on residents of our nations capital.
The original owner of John C Flood continued his business for many years eventually opening services to the Northern Virginia and Maryland areas. As electrical services became more reliable and more widely available and accessible to surrounding areas John C. Flood began to include electrical services to residents.
Fast forward a number of decades and the year is 1989 and that's when the current owners James Seltzer and Clinton Haislip bought the rights to the John C. Flood name and began to operate under the name and transformed the business into one of the largest local HVAC, plumbing, & electrical service providers in the area. With over 50 trucks on the road and more than 50,000 jobs performed each year it's a far cry from the original humble beginnings of John C Flood.
We still carry the same philosophy as the original founder and that is to provide the best possible service at competitive prices. And since we have been around for over 100 years you can be assured we will be around when ever you need us for years (or decades) to come.
