How To Create Magnetic Greeting Cards For Christmas

The festive season is a time for giving and been thankful for what we have. Many of us choose to share our emotions by giving a friend, family member or business associate a greeting card. These cards lovely as they are, tend to get lost in the sea of cards. Why not do something different this year and give them a truly special greeting card which they could still place over the fireplace, but also place on the fridge. To create the magnetic greeting card you only need plenty of imagination, a working printer and an A5 paper.

How To Create Magnetic Greeting Cards For Christmas:

1. Create a festive design - the design can be made using a photo editor software, but also any word processor software will work well should you not have a photo editor software. It may include text, images, photos, icons, and slogans. Make sure it fits into an A5 size by adjusting the page settings.

2. Print a test page - before you print on the magnetic paper, we strongly suggest that you print a test page on normal paper. This step will help you determine if you need to make any changes to the design and will keep the waste of expensive paper to a minimum.

3. Change the printer setting - you are recommended to print using the printer's highest settings. To access this option, go to printer settings and choose the highest image quality print you see.

4. Buy a magnetic A5 sheet - magnetic papers are available in A5 size folded into an A6. This paper is fully magnetic so it may be attached to any surface which can generate a magnetic charge. Simply adjust the printer feeding tray to an A5 size and feed in the paper.

5. Result! Just place the greeting card in an envelop and send as your Christmas greeting card.
