Snowing Icicle Lights and Christmas Decoration Ideas

Have you ever wondered how you can do even more each Christmas; add more lighting, sparkles, pizazz, enjoyment, beauty, special effects, more "Ahhhhhh's", as you create your yearly Christmas decorations?

You already love the traditional generational idea of Christmas and have already expanded the concept over the years. Since growing up, you have stored in your memory some of the most beautiful recounts of the holidays from being at home to being at your grandparent's house to being with friends, whether they were at work or at their houses, or just going out looking at the wonder Christmas decorations in the streets of the city you lived in or visited, the glistening of the lights almost brought tears to your eyes because of how wondrous they were.

Looking back, remember the stores you visited like M&S, Harrods or the city centre celebrations or even the pound stores to get your favourite decorations from. The icicles, the family ornaments made by hand by your parents or grandparents, the new hangings on the tree like Santa and the Elves; Rudolph and the Reindeer's; Mrs Claus and the workshop helpers; round balls, square cubes, glass wear, and all the other kinds of decorations that make Christmas, Christmas.

Here are some new choices that you may not have thought of yet: Fuzzy Snowman Door Ornament, Skating Soft Cute Snowmen, Snowman Head with Blue Scarf, Clay Cowboy Santa, Iridescent White Icicle Garland, puppet snowman or Santa, and other new and exciting decorations.

Homemade items are still the best. Clay can be used to form little animals, sticks, shaped trees, fruit an figurines that can be made into a Nativity scene or other great decorating ideas. After all, it's all up to you and how much fun you have making and showing your decorations each year.

Try forming paper mache' balls, sprinkling Elmer's Glue all around them and pasting coloured paper on them. You can even add additional glue to the balls and ad iridescent sprinkles to them. Either way, it's a new take on an old idea, and, it remains fresh! Also, try sprucing up your own home office (as most people do at work) with a small tree for the desk covered with colourful in-expensive bright buttons.

Please, don't forget the home-made stockings (which can be updated every year with different colours and additions) hung by the fireplace, the mincemeat pie and the party hats. What a treat! Also, making Christmas personal helps everyone to enjoy it that much more. You can sit around and eat and drink and talk about the ornaments and decorations that were made as opposed to those that were bought. Share stories of how they were incorporated into the theme of Christmas and, who's idea they were. It's just a lot of fun.

Christmas doesn't have to be a chore that becomes just a ritual; it can also be an experience that the whole family can become involved in and enjoy together. The memories that you make each year will last a lifetime.
