Teenage Break Up:Tips For Survival

When it comes to the pains and agonies of heart break, it is more fierce and cruel in teenagers than it is in adults. This is due to the facts that some of those teens are not fully grounded in the understanding of love, such that they begin to wander in a relationship like Alice in Wonderland.

In light of this, it is expedient that teens are well taught to know how to handle such situations as significant as break ups in relationships, just so when it happens you (as a teenager) will not hurt yourself and wallow in depression for a very long time and hate yourself for it.

Below are some tips for surviving teenage break up:

Tip 1:

Avoid being lonely when you have just experienced a break up. this only leads to depression and can make you sick. Instead go out, mingle with your friends, you can even go shopping, explore life or go volunteering.

Tip 2:

Get acquainted with someone you can trust. let the person know how you feel and listen to his or her advice. It is always better if the person is older than you, by this you will learn from his or her wealth of experience.

Tip 3:

Try as much as possible not to be intimidated at the sight of your ex with another lover, although this may seem a little hard for you to handle. If properly handled, you may show your ex that you are more matured by doing this.

Tip 4.

Reduce your contacts with your ex in all ways. It could be through calls or text messages, online chats etc. when you prove to be scarce, a message will be conveyed back to your ex that he or she is dispensable and replaceable after all.

With these tips, you will develop a very good and strong image of yourself and will be ready to go through what mature people go through in relationships.
