There are various GPS enabled mobile phones available in India that travelers can buy to ensure a safe trip within India.

GPS navigation systems are commonly found in most of the developed countries, they are still to spread its wings in India. It was not too long ago that physical maps were used here to locate the destinations and assess the distances. Offline route planning devices are helpful but real time route guiding softwares are preferable to the traveler. Locating restaurants, restrooms, hotels, or petrol pumps was never as easy as it is now, with the help of GPS.
