With modern technology moving so fast these days, it was easy to watch The Karate Kid online. The latest incarnation of the film stars Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith, set in China. While the original had Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita, the updated version manages to exemplify the same style while modernizing it quite a bit. With the new setting, a new set of actors, but the same heart felt message, the new film really does a fine job of updating the classic tale of teacher and student, and is an instant classic.
