If there are no facilities don't forget to stop on the way and stock up on some nice treats that could buy you some time until you either get home or get somewhere nice to eat after your excursion.Does your destination cater for all ages? If you have more than one child there is a chance that one will be older than the other. When going anywhere don't forget to ask wherever you are going if they have something that caters for all ages. Having one child that is bored can be nightmares so don't forget to check. Museums are usually good ideas for days out as they generally have something that will interest everybody.
