The payoffs from youth ministry

The payoffs from youth ministry

When you are leading a youth ministry you should be focused on one thing and one thing only, and that is delivering your students to a meaningful one-on-one relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The payoff that you get from reading your students to a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ is a sense of accomplishment doing God's work. Youth ministry work can be difficult at times and it can also be challenging in ways that you never expect because of everything that teenagers deal with and how they express themselves. But when you lead with your love and your passion for Jesus Christ and to truly try to make an impact and every single one of your students lives by helping them along the way to a relationship with Jesus Christ you will find that there is nothing more fulfilling life that helping somebody to that destination.

The payoffs from youth ministry

Your youth ministry work should also be selfless in many ways that include your students. Your youth ministry should be out into your community on a constant basis and he knows who need help the most who are less fortunate. When your youth ministry comes together to aid those in need not only are you helping those people in the now, but you are also doing God's work and you are spreading his message of love and compassion through your outreach work. When you include your students in your outreach work and you help those in your community who are less fortunate you allow your students the ability to feel what it is like to reach out and help those who you may not know but you know need help.

Your youth ministry has the ability to go on and help people for years to come. When a student comes to your youth group or your Bible lessons the time that you have with that student can impact them for many years to come and can impact the people that they come in touch with. When you make an impact in one of your students lives not only do they learn lessons that they can apply to their own lives during challenges, but that student then becomes a teacher in that they have the ability to pass on the lessons that they have learned from you to people that need them as they needed them at one point.

Your youth ministry work will probably not result in riches of the material kind but it will more than likely result in the riches of the spiritual kind. When you do God's work and you help those around you ,you are being extremely selfless which is very rare in today's society. You can take comfort that what you are doing is the best work that can be done here on earth are spreading the word of Jesus Christ. If you truly put yourself last and those around you before yourself with a focus on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ you will be successful in anything you choose to do including your youth ministry work.
