Updating Your C.V With a Microsoft Certification (MCSE)

Feel like your C.V is out of date or simply does not have enough on? Taking an I.T certification may be the way forward for you

With technology changing faster than most of us change our clothes, it has become highly important in a job competitive world to have up to date qualifications on your C.V. Not only will it improve your skills but it will show to prospective employers that you are serious about progressing in the work place.

If you have already taken a Microsoft certification, over three or four years ago, you may need to take it again. As technology changes, so do the certifications, hence, once you're qualified you might not be qualified for life. However, for most certifications from Microsoft and other vendors, you will only need to take one module to update your qualification. Thankfully you do not have to be tested on the whole lot all over again.

However, there are some certifications, which are valid for life, such as the MCSE and MCSA. Even though valid for life, once considered out of date, they may not be as highly valued as the updated certification.

If your new to I.T certifications, then taking an I.T certification will help you improve your I.T skills, adapt easier to changing technologies, as well as get that much desired promotion in the work place. Showing your willing to work hard and are taking your work seriously, shows to employers that you're the type of person they want to hire committed and hard working.
