World of Warcraft is by far the biggest, most entertaining and most popular MMORPG available today. With over 11 million active players you can just imagine how big the virtual world of Azeroth has become!
At the start of the World of Warcraft phenomenon mathematicians and gamers predicted that World of Warcraft would be played by about 100 million people if it kept growing in popularity at the rate it started (and continued at for years).
