London Hotels & Fireworks The Perfect Antidote to Daylight Savings

This weekend you should take advantage of the festive range of activities that are going on in London. There are hundreds of bonfire and firework displays all over the city that are going to look spectacular. If you want to get involved then take a look at the advice below that lists the various events going on. There is stuff to do from Friday to Sunday, and its something that the whole family can enjoy. To make your trip that little bit more special why not book a room in one of the fabulous London hotels. There are always loads of great deals to be discovered. The event in Southgate is the only one that charges.

Clapham has a firework display at 7.30pm on Friday 5th November. Clapham Common will be alive with a traditional fireworks display, lighting up the skies above Clapham Common. This is supposed to be one of the best displays in London, which will be very busy, so try and get down early to avoid disappointment. As it's a Friday you should expect lots of after events to be organised. There will be a lovely warm bonfire to get your hands warm, and there will a selection of food and drink options, serving mulled wine and other festive treats. It is the 405th anniversary of Guy Fawkes, so visitors should look out for something a little different at this South London event. The event is perfect for kids and adults alike, so bring the whole family! If you don't live locally then you should book through one of the London hotels. This will just add to the excitement.

On Saturday 6th November you can go and see the Southgate fireworks display. This event returns for another year, bringing one of the best-loved displays to North London. It is located at the Walker Cricket Ground and is set to be a very impressive evening. Wrapping up warm and supping mulled wine at this event is a great way to spend the weekend. There is a really friendly atmosphere at this event, so get involved! Children under 4 also get in for free and it costs 4 16 year olds 4 and all others 6. If you want to witness a remarkable display with a warming, friendly environment then choose Southgate this year.

Make sure you do visit a fireworks display this year. It's easy to forget that fact that these events actually happen in London! This weekend the temperatures will be dropping, so put on some extra layers if you're going out on Sunday night, as it will be particularly cold. So bring the whole family down to one of these nights and have an evening to remember. To make it even more special you could always indulge in one of the five-star London hotels.
