The Razor Scooter A2 in Purple - Fun for Both Kids and Teens

Ride on toys for kids are very popular. Whether it's a bicycle, skateboard or scooter, these toys are always a hit. The Razor Scooter A2 in purple is one such brand and model that has remained popular since these toys were first introduced in the late nineties. And the purple color has more recently become a preferred choice versus the lime green. These scooters are a popular gift choice for parents because they are not very expensive and take up very little room in the garage. For kids, it's a faster and more fun way to get to the park or to a friend's place.

My son has had his Razor A2 for about 5 years. So, there's another bonus right there. They are built very well and last for a long time because they are made from airplane grade aluminum. The handles are made from foam rubber so that unfortunately, these do start to break down over time. The handles on my son's Razor are half off by now but overall the scooter still works as well as when we first bought it. Until my son could confidently ride his bicycle, this scooter was a great way for him to get around. And, he still uses it now at age 11 even though he's got his bicycle.

The Razor Scooter A2 in purple has a springless front wheel and shock system to make this a smoother ride and assist older kids with performing fancy tricks on them such as wheelies, turns and so on. The handle bar rotates 180 degrees and there is a braking mechanism on the back of it to ensure the ability to stop quickly and the wheels are made from a urethane material so that the scooter glides nicely. The scooter folds away nicely so that you can take it to the cottage or camping. This is a great toy for kids as young as 5 years old as well as pre-teens or teenagers because it has a weight capacity up to 143 pounds. The handles, wheels and parts of the frame are all purple.

As a parent, it's frustrating when you purchase a toy for your kid and they play with it for a day or two and then it never sees the light of day again. The Razor A2 is not one of these toys. Every kid that has one gets lots of use out of it so it is well worth the investment. And, with kids spending so much time playing video games (I know mine does), it's nice to have an assortment of outdoor toys that your child enjoys so that they are encouraged to get outside for some exercise.
