How To Look At Hotel Reviews And Make Up Your Own Mind On The Best Location To Visit

A bad hotel can very easily ruin your holiday. Some hotels can be in such a bad state of repair, verging on being unsafe. Others are dirty and not looked after. The ones where you get in bed and feel dirty! There are hotels with cleaning facilities so disgusting, you don't want to step in the shower. Then there are the hotels with staff so rude, you forget for a minute you are paying for hospitality. Don't let these bad hotels ruin your holiday. There are so many fantastic hotels to stay in. Hotels offering great facilities and rooms. The staff truly care about you and your visit. To find those hotels though, you do need to fish out the bad ones! Here are a few tips on how to try and hopefully spot those bad hotels, and to find the top class hotels. The Internet is the best place for finding hotels. Luckily for us, people love supplying bad reviews. A quick Google should find you a plethora of review websites. Consider as many different reviews as you can. One thing to consider with reviews is they are written by different people. Expectations vary incredibly from person to person, thus so do the reviews. A hotel you find incredibly good might be a nightmare for someone else. On the other hand, a hotel that has had good reviews might not be up to your standards. Be subjective when reading reviews. Review the reviews first! On hotel review sites, normally you can see what other reviews the person has made. On the whole though, if a hotel is getting bad reviews, it doesn't look good. A hotel with good reviews and plenty, will be doing something right! Have your friends visited any hotels in the area you are visiting? Work colleagues in particular are good to ask. Try and be subjective again though. You should know from that person just how accurate their review is likely to be. Generally though, direct reviews are more accurate. Looking at reviews by people you have never met is difficult to gage how accurate they are. You could always try turning up in the hotel reception. First impressions really do count. With a visit, you'll see exactly what state the front of house is in. How helpful are the staff? If they are polite and nice, it is always a good sign. If they are grumpy and bored, then make your excuses and leave! Whatever hotel you do choose, do be sure to leave reviews on the Internet . If positive feedback has been earned, do leave some good feedback as people are normally far too quick to criticise.
