Exploring The Victoria And Albert Waterfront Cape Town South Africa

lush green botanical gardens, turquoise beaches, wild life wonders, water sports, mountain, theme parks, sea food, harbor, castles, museumsin short nearly everything that you can possibly call a place to visit. There is so much to write about the city, its history and culture that it can take a life time to complete. However, going one at a time today, I am writing about the famous V&A Water front Cape Town.

Victoria and Albert Water Front locally called as V&A brings some of the most scenic views of the city in your sight. It paints a mosaic of old and new Cape Town with the stunning Table Mountain as its background. Situated in the centre of the city, Victoria and Albert Waterfront remains packed with tourists all four seasons. Partly, because of the landscape and stunning views, and partly because of the extraordinary combination of food, shopping and touring all at one place.

V&A is home to the historic harbor built by Jan van Riebeeck in 1654. The harbor that started off as a small quay today dominates the sea front with an array of shopping attractions, museums, food courts, restaurants and inviting nightlife.

You can begin your morning by resting your eyes at the scenic views of the Table Mountain and harbor; you can head to the museum for an afternoon face to face with history or take to the sea for a spot of adventure or excitement instead. You can have a brunch at one of the many international restaurants lined at the V&A side. Also, evenings can be best spent surfing through the many shops and collecting gifts, souvenirs and items of interest. Dazzle in the night clubs later in the night and soak up the exhilarating nightlife of Cape Town. Dine at the sea front and let you get carried away with the ecstasy of a perfect holiday in South Africa.
