When you're at the airport, head to the suitcase or general flight accessory store. Without hesitation, go and buy the most expensive travel socks that money can buy. Travel socks must be made of unicorn fur, because they are so very comfortable. As someone who likes to sleep on planes without their shoes on, the smell of socks can often be unbearable. So when I get onto a flight I immediately take off my shoes. I also take off my socks and replace them with a nice clean pair of travel socks.
If there's something that's more luxurious than travel socks, I don't want to hear about it. Travel socks, especially the ones that are kind of loose fitting and padded on the sole will make flights from Dallas to New York a whole new experience that even Texans can enjoy. They'll make a big different on long haul flights from Charlotte to London and you'll be most glad of that purchase than any other presents you picked up on your holiday or business trip.
I'm such a fan of the travel sock that I even pick up a few packs for friends, reminding them to wear them on those flights from Manchester to Munich. You'll hear reports back saying just how perfect and awesome these socks are and want to buy new ones on every trip you make.
