On the first day, you will drive to Samburu National Reserve in time for a late lunch. After lunch, there shall be a game viewing trip around the reserve. You will stay overnight at the Samburu Lodge where you will also have your meals. On the second day, the whole day will be spent game viewing. The park is famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy's zebra gerenuk, beisa Oryx and the host of the big game including the elephant and the lion. You will spend and take your meals at the lodge for the second night.
On the morning of the third day after breakfast, you will drive south towards Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have lunch at Nakuru before proceeding for an afternoon game drive in the park. This is a shallow soda lake which inhabits more than a million flamingoes. The lake Nakuru National Park has a Rhino sanctuary. Other animals to be seen here are the lion, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog and hippo. Diner will be served at the Sarova Lion Hill lodge where you will spend the night too. On the fourth day after breakfast, you will leave for Masai Mara game reserve, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary.
Including migration, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Masaai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Diner will be served at the Mara Sarova where you will spend the night. In the morning of the fifth day, you will take breakfast and have a game drive the whole morning and in the afternoon after lunch in the lodge where you will have diner and spend the night. The same process will be repeated on the 6th day. On the seventh day after breakfast, you will return to Nairobi where you will arrive in the afternoon.
