Keep Britain Biking Competition Tour

Earlier this year, in order to promote motorcycle travel throughout the UK, MCN/Devitt sponsored a competition to "Keep Britain Biking". Bikers across the country were asked to vote on their favourite spot and the winner was The Pit Stop Diner in Stockton on Tees.

Those that voted for the winning location were entered into a prize draw where the winner won a 14 day guided motorbike tour of the UK run by Extra Mile Bike Tours.

Details of this tour are now available on the website. http://www.extramilebiketours.com

During this motorcycle tour we will cover some of the top 10 destinations of that competition as we ride through the New Forest, Cornwall, Wales, The Lake District and Scotland.

This MotorcycleTour will start at The Pit Stop Diner on July 16th and head South along the east Coast and down through the Cotswolds and down to the New Forest, visiting the Beaulieu National Motor Museum and the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum.

From here the tour continues to Devon and Cornwall and then back up the West coast before crossing into Wales.

Riding through Wales along some of the countries best biking roads, across the Brecon Beacons to the West Coast and the town of Aberaeron before following the coastal road to Aberystwyth and then inland again and North into Snowdonia national Park.

From Wales it then rides through the Lake District and up into Scotland and all the way up to John O'Groats.

Heading South again it visits Fort William, Glencoe, Perth and down to Edinburgh.

The last day sees the tour heading homeward with a stop off at Hawick to visit the Museum which has dedicated rooms to the memories of the late Jimmie Guthrie and Steve Hislop.

Sections of this tour such as Wales, Scotland etc are available as seperate tours from 2 to 5 days. Please ask for details.

All places are booked on a first come first serve basis.
