How To Take Care Of Your Skin This Christmas Season

Believe it or not, Christmas is right around the corner. We'll be celebrating the merriest holiday in a few weeks and everyone is busy shopping for presents and attending Christmas parties here and there. And because you're partying hard this season, sleeping late and being exposed to smoke and alcohol might take a toll on your skin. Having a gorgeous skin would not only make heads turn, it'll also boost your self esteem and confidence as well so you really have to take care of it. With this, let me share to you some tips on how to take care of your skin this Christmas party season.

1. Eat healthy. Christmas season is a very festive season and you tend to overeat because of all the tasty spread on the table. However, eating foods that are high in sugar, sodium and fat can give you pimple breakouts so try to balance what you eat. I know it's hard but dealing with a bad skin breakout is definitely harder.

2. Avoid exposing yourself to second hand smoke. Smoke from cigarettes could damage your skin and make it look dull so keep away when a friend starts to puff smoke.

3. Avoid consuming too much alcohol. Alcoholic beverages could dry out your skin and it's also bad for your overall health. If you can't completely avoid it, try to keep it to a minimum.

4. Get plenty of rest. Nothing beats a good sleep after partying all night long. Try to have as much sleep and rest as you can so that you could still look gorgeous after.

5. Stick to your skin ritual. Always remember to cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day. Also, don't forget to remove all traces of makeup before you doze off to sleep. Never ever sleep with your makeup on unless you want to wake up with a face full of zits.
