The road between the city of Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast is only about an hour, but it is one that will be well spent enjoying all the beautiful scenic views along your path. Of course, if driving is not your thing, there's always the possibility of jumping from an airplane and fly to the Sunshine Coast and if it can be a faster way to get to your next destination, is not nearly as interesting.
On the Sunshine Coast you will want to make sure that you take a hotel on the beach. Staying on the ocean will allow you to really appreciate the sunshine and beautiful weather and to take part in some of the water sports that are available in this region. Also, since the Sunshine Coast has many unique attractions be sure to choose at least one or two of these places to check out allowing about a half a day for each.
On the Sunshine Coast you can easily drive or fly to the Gold Coast region and the tropical north Queensland as well and doing so would not only allow you to experience more of the region but will also give you a different taste of this broad and exciting region.
