Industrial functionality - Unions can go for strikes and can enforce lookouts to accomplish a righteous goal.
Political actions - Unions have the power to encourage legislative approving for the importance of the members or workers. They may offer every political action so as to support candidates. One of the major examples of such attribute is the labor party in Britain.

Every factory where a lot of labors work for their livelihood needs a body which should have the power to work for the interest of every worker.
